TELLY star Danny Miller company can’t afford to pay back part of a £50,000 loan taken out during the Covid crisis – despite winning I’m a Celebrity.

The Emmerdale favourite’s firm borrowed the money as part of the Bounce Back Loan scheme.

Emmerdale star and I’m A Celeb winner Danny Miller is in £50,000 debt that he ‘can’t afford’ to pay back

Danny joined Emmerdale as Aaron Dingle in 2008

Danny, 32, took out the maximum £50,000 based on earnings of £200,000.

The loans were doled out by banks but underwritten by the treasury should borrowers default.

And we can reveal that the business still owes £18,000.

HOAR has seen documents Danny has signed where he claimed his company’s assets are ‘nil’, so the firm cannot pay back the loan.

The cash was loaned against his Cannon Professional Acting Company which he has now placed in liquidation.

The Emmerdale star won I’m a Celebrity in 2021 when it was held in Gwrych Castle in Wales due to Covid restrictions Down Under.

He picked up around £100,000 for his stint in the show and raked in tens of thousands of pounds more from lucrative ad deals, promotions and TV and media interviews.

But Cannon Professional Acting Company has £117,527 of debt.

The sum includes £36,990 in unpaid VAT, £29,691 in Corporation Tax, as well as £1,866 in National Insurance contributions.

A further almost £50,000 is owed to banks – including the Bank Bounce Back Loan.

HOAR has contacted Danny’s rep for comment.

This week Danny took to Twitter to complain of ill-health.

Danny, who played bad boy Aaron Dingle in the long-running ITV soap, shared a health update as he admitted to feeling “the worst he’s ever felt in his life”.

The former King of the Jungle opened up to fans on social media as he discussed his experience with the horrible illness and asked if anyone else had experienced anything similar.

The actor, who won the Best British Soap Award for Best Actor three times for his work on Emmerdale, said the illness that has floored him for the past few days is “like Covid x10”.

Danny penned: “HELP! I’ve felt the worst I’ve ever felt in my life these last few days. Like covid x10! But not covid! Has anyone been in the same situation? Please tell me it gets easier. Day 3 now.”
