Evelyn's desperate mission to bring Terry down
Evelyn Plummer has been on a mission to expose Terry's illegal activities in recent episodes of the popular ITV soap. In a bid to gather evidence, she diligently scours the internet for any proof of Terry's involvement in a puppy farm.
A risky encounter
While in the precinct, Evelyn spots Terry leaving a pound shop with a tray of puppy food. Determined to get closer to the truth, she decides to follow him. However, her plans take a dangerous turn when Terry discovers he's being trailed and threatens her with violence.
A helping hand
Undeterred by the threats, Evelyn seeks assistance from her daughter Cassie, played by Claire Sweeney, and her friend Roy Cropper, portrayed by David Neilson. Together, they devise a plan to expose Terry. Evelyn shows them a photo of a puppy for sale online and believes Terry is the person holding it. Roy decides to make an inquiry, leading them to a woman named Joan who unknowingly reveals Terry's address.
A daring break-in
With the information in hand, Cassie decides to pay Terry a visit. She sneaks into his house through a downstairs window and discovers a room filled with crates of puppies and a bag of cash nearby. As Cassie gathers the puppies and the stolen money, Terry enters the room. With her heart racing, she must find a way to escape without getting caught.
The aftermath
In later scenes, Evelyn receives another shocking revelation. Craig Tinker, played by Colson Smith, informs her that Terry has been seriously assaulted. To make matters worse, Evelyn becomes the prime suspect in the attack. Will she take the blame for Terry's assault?
A difficult decision for Cassie
As the situation escalates, Cassie feels guilty watching her mother being taken away by Craig in a police car. Will she confess her own actions to save Evelyn from prison? Will she make the right choice?
