Recently, eagle-eyed EastEnders fans had called out clues that suggested Shabnam Masood, played by Rakhee Thakrar, would be making an Albert Square comeback. However, the Leicester actress has now told TV Times that there is currently no talk of her return.

Rakhee Thakrar revealed that she was surprised to learn that viewers were talking about her character's return. She said, "It's so sweet that people are talking about it and I'm very touched that viewers want Shabnam back."
