GAIL Platt will make a breakthrough discovery in a bid to uncover her evil brother and serial killer Stephen Reid’s crimes.
New photos show Coronation Street actors Sally Dynevor, Elaine Jones, David Campbell and Helen Worth are seen filming a murder crime scene in Manchester.

Sally, Elaine and Helen’s characters stumble across a crime scene where actor Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe, fished out a box underwater in the canal, which had a hand in it.
The hand belongs to Stephen’s previous victim, Teddy, who he dumped in the canal after killing him earlier this year.
ITV viewers know that Teddy had grown suspicious of Stephen after discovering this his missing son, Leo, who Stephen had killed, was not actually residing in Canada as everyone believed.
Stephen accidentally killed Leo months prior after pushing him into a wheelie bin off the Underworld balcony.
More recently, Stephen set his sights on Elaine and her money.
Luckily, Tim was onto him and is now hell-bent on finding out what Stephen is hiding.
And it seems that Tim is getting closer and closer to the truth.
The new photos show police tape to corner off the crime scene from the public, while the forensic team investigated what Tim found.
There was also a police car present, some police officers, and detectives labelling the evidence, while the residents looked on.
Meanwhile, Rufus’ former wife is on the cobbles and has grown increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding Rufus’ death.
She does not believe he overdosed and is determined to find out what really happened.
Fans will have to wait and see what exactly could be happening upon these scenes airing later in the year.
