Lisa Fowler came back hellbent on revenge after more than three years of absence.
In a shocking twist, she had brought her granddaughter Peggy Mitchell Jr. in an attempt to guilt-trip Keanu (played by Danny Walters) into giving her money for her gambling addiction.
Her lies eventually unravelled and Keanu’s fiancée Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) gave Lisa an unexpected helping hand.
But in doing so, Sharon drove a wedge between Keanu and his daughter as she allowed Lisa to escape Walford with the young girl to his devastation.
Coming up next week on BBC One, a distraught Keanu desperately seeks ways to get Peggy back determined to step up as her father.
Martin Fowler (James Bye), on the other hand, warns Sharon that Keanu has approached Eve Unwin’s friend to wage a legal battle against Lisa to get Peggy.
But the hunk is heartbroken when he hears that unless Peggy is in the country, he’ll have to fight through the Portuguese courts which could take years.
A broken Keanu seeks comfort when visiting his mother Karen (Lorraine Stanley).
But she soon puts the idea in his head that someone in the house helped Lisa get away with Peggy.
Keanu becomes convinced Martin was the one to help Lisa leave the Square due to her connection with his late brother Martin.
He decides to kick Martin out of the house – but will he discover the truth?
How will he react if he is to find out he has it all wrong?
Could Sharon confess to what she’s done to help Lisa?
Will Keanu ever be reunited with his daughter?
