ITV viewers have been wanting nothing more than Leyla Harding (portrayed by Roxy Shahidi) to move on from Dr Liam and recover from her string of rough times.
And after being kidnapped by drug dealer Callum, it seemed she was finally in for some rest – until Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) showed up.
The pair instantly hit it off when they first met in the Emmerdale cemetery but it wasn’t until Leyla was having lunch with her son Jacob Gallagher in the Woolpack that they decided to get closer.
In scenes airing next week, however, Leyla has second thoughts about her blossoming connection with Caleb.
She spends the night with Caleb and in hindsight, is worried about her decision.
Caleb, on the other hand, tries to reassure her that he wants to spend time with her – but is all really as it seems with him?
Absolutely not and fans of the Yorkshire-based drama have already sussed it out.
Many viewers of the long-running drama have speculated Caleb will be bringing nothing but trouble to Leyla in upcoming weeks.
They have been increasingly suspicious of him since he first arrived in the eponymous village.
Fans of the program will remember that Caleb rocked up the Dales with a visit to Cain who was incarcerated at the time for the murder of Al Chapman.
When he figured out Cain’s son Kyle Winchester was actually responsible for the death, Caleb took matters into his own hands and helped the duo.
This led to all charges against Kyle to be dropped and Cain was released from prison.
While he managed to gain the trust of the Dingle family, his business acumen impressed Kim Tate with whom he embarked on a new venture.
Viewers aren’t as convinced he’s up to anything good and many believe he has a connection with another newcomer, Home Farm nanny Nicky.
