LUCY-JO Hudson claims ex Alan Halsall “must have regretted” an Instagram post hitting out at her new man after he quickly deleted it.

In February, Alan appeared to take aim at Lucy-Jo’s boyfriend Lewis Devine after he called the Coronation Street star’s daughter Sienna his own on the social media site.

Seemingly referencing the post, he wrote and soon deleted: “You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter.”

In a new interview with OK!, Lucy-Jo broke her silence on the incident.

She said: “I had literally just given birth to Carter when he posted that so I didn’t see it and my head was elsewhere. He quickly deleted it so he must have regretted it.

“I didn’t bother bringing it up with him. Lew and I were both too focused on Carter so it just didn’t get our attention.”

And Lucy-Jo admitted co-parenting with the actor can be difficult as they sometimes clash over parenting styles.

She continued: “The thing is, everybody who has a blended family knows it’s not easy. You can’t pretend that it is.

“And me and Alan sometimes have different views on raising Sienna so trying to co-parent can be challenging. It’s probably like that for a lot of blended families.”

Lewis previously gushed about six-year-old Sienna following the birth of their son Carter.

As part of a lengthy post after Lucy-Jo gave birth, he said: “Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!”

After giving birth to her son, Lucy-Jo told fans: “We are so in love with our baby boy!!!

“Our family is now complete. Love you @LewisDevine”.

Lucy and Alan have been co-parenting Sienna since their split in 2018.

They initially called time on their marriage in March 2016 before rekindling their romance just months later.

They met on the set of Corrie when Lucy-Jo joined as Katy Harris in 2002 and began dating in 2004.

Lucy-Jo left the soap in 2005 and went on to play prostitute Donna-Marie Quinn in Hollyoaks.

She met fellow actor Lewis on the set of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2017, and the pair started dating the following year.

They announced her pregnancy in August with a sweet picture of her baby scan.

Lewis previously revealed how he felt becoming a step dad, telling OK! Magazine:  “I was nervous but I just didn’t try to push anything with Sienna.

“I just wanted to be me and for our relationship to grow naturally. I think that’s why we do have such a great bond.”

At the time Lucy admitted how hard it can be sharing custody with Alan, who is now dating another former Corrie star, Tisha Merry.

She said: “It has its challenges and it can be difficult with everyone’s schedules but you make it work for the child involved.”
