Theo Hawthorne, a former teacher portrayed by William Ellis, faces comeuppance after months of relentlessly stalking and terrorizing Stacey Slater.
A plea hearing and manipulations
Next week on BBC One, Theo has to go to court for his actions, and Stacey is reeling from his multiple attempts to make contact on the day of his plea. Stacey reluctantly agrees to meet him, hoping to manipulate him into pleading guilty by promising to restart their "relationship" once he serves his time.
A worrying situation
However, Stacey starts to worry if she has made the situation worse as Theo reacts badly to her suggestion. Jean Slater tries to discourage her daughter from attending Theo's plea hearing, but Stacey remains determined to be there.

Martin Fowler and Jack Branning stand by Stacey's side as she anxiously waits for Theo to give evidence during the plea hearing.
Confession and revelations
Later on, Jack comforts a drunken Stacey as she tearfully confesses her fears about Theo. Stacey then drops a bombshell, admitting that she planted evidence on Theo to cover up Freddie's actions and make it look like Theo tried to attack her. Viewers will recall that Freddie, struggling to cope with his mother's rape, assaulted Theo in a fit of rage.
Help from Eve Unwin
Eve Unwin, a former solicitor, gets involved to help Stacey and Freddie come up with a story to clear Freddie of any charges. Stacey and Freddie go along with Eve's plan, claiming self-defense, and Freddie eventually leaves Walford.
