HARDCORE EastEnders fans will well remember Dennis Rickman, who married his adopted sister Sharon.
Since leaving the soap, actor Nigel Harman has continued to have an incredible career – which includes appearing on Strictly.

Born August 11, 1973, Nigel Harman is an English actor, best known for his role as Dennis Rickman in EastEnders.
The talented star is known for his work both on the screen, and in the theatre.
In August 2023, Nigel was officially confirmed as one of the stars taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.
He said: “I’m excited to be out and proud now.
“I think I’m realising since I said yes to it, in my my mind, I think I’m a better dancer than my body tells me.”
His Casualty co-star and former Strictly star Charles Venn had some sage advice for him, too.
Nigel said: “He took me aside and got really serious and said ‘you’ve got to do cardio’.
“He said ‘there’s nothing else to do than just be yourself’.”
He added: “I’m amazed, excited, and terrified to be doing Strictly. As an armchair fan of the show I have watched in awe as people have twirled and gyrated across the screen. And now it’s my turn…..gulp!”

During his time in Albert Square he married his adopted sister Sharon, played by Letitia Dean.
Nigel’s EastEnders character was killed off in 2006 when he was stabbed on New Year’s Day and died in Sharon’s arms.

After EastEnders Nigel went on to star in Downton Abbey as evil valet Mr Green.
The character was at the centre of a violent rape scene involving lady’s maid Anna, played by Joanne Froggatt.
However, Nigel now can be seen on BBC soap Casualty playing doctor Max Christie.
The actor is also known for his theatre work, including Shrek The Musical Three Days Of Rain, alongside James McAvoy.
Is Nigel Harman married?
Nigel married actress Lucy Leimann in 2011.
She is best known for her work in Agatha Christie, Footballers’ Wives, and the movie The Bourne Ultimatum.
In 2012 the happy couple had a daughter together.
