ALISON Hammond has revealed the dress she wore on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2014 is now too big for her.
The telly favourite slipped into her old costume for a guest appearance on the BBC dance show this weekend – and looked slimmer than ever.

Speaking about popping the purple dress back on, Alison told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “They asked me to come and do the terms and conditions and I haven’t been back to Strictly for so long.
“Obviously I loved being on Strictly, but I can’t do anymore on Striclty, I have done the Christmas special, the last thing to do was the terms and conditions. I had such a lovely time, it was like going home. I had such a lovely night.
“I wore my old dress from 2014, its vintage dress, a little bit big for me, but it was fine.”
In July Alison revealed she had cut out sugar to help her shed the pounds.
She weighed 20 stone at her biggest and started to lose weight after her beloved mother sadly died in 2020.
“Sometimes I look at myself and go, ‘Wow, I am a big girl’. But I like taking up a bit of space,” said Alison on Lorraine Kelly’s podcast.
“I take a little bit of extra space in the world and I don’t think I’m hurting anyone.”
She added: “We’re all going to die eventually. I might die a little bit sooner, but I’m going to live my life to the fullest.
“And if I do die sooner, I’m going to have a fantastic life. I’m going to have a wonderful life. I’m 47 now, I don’t know how long I’m going to go on for.”
