Rugby Star Turns Heads with Festive Costume

Danny Cipriani, the former England rugby star, made quite the impression on judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse during tomorrow's Strictly Christmas special. Sporting a tight Santa waistcoat, Cipriani showed off his muscular tattooed arms in the sleeveless festive costume.

Footwork Takes a Backseat to Physique

While Cipriani danced the cha-cha-cha with his pro partner Jowita Przystal to the 1980 hit Celebration, it was his physique that left the two judges swooning. Motsi, impressed by his appearance, said, "Well, well, well. If I knew Santa looked like that I would stay up all night."

Judges and Presenter Can't Help But Be Impressed

Head judge Shirley Ballas commented, "Well Mr. Claus, I wasn't expecting that. I mean, I saw it all." Even Strictly presenter Tess Daly couldn't resist, saying, "I think you have given the judges the perfect gift for Christmas."

Danny Cipriani Shows His Dedication

The episode also features a segment where Cipriani works out in the gym with Santa Claus. Jowita Przystal, his dance partner, encouraged him to get fit for the tight Santa outfit. Cipriani's commitment to the routine was evident as he was seen doing exercises with a Christmas tree and sit-ups for a mince pie.

Potential for Future Appearances

Cipriani's appearance on the Strictly Christmas special is seen as a trial run for him potentially becoming a contestant on the main show. A source revealed that he could appear on next year's series.

Other Celebs Join the Festive Fun

The special, airing at 4:40 pm, will also feature TV historian Dan Snow, BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent, and EastEnder Jamie Borthwick.
