James Jordan criticizes judges

Former Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has expressed his opinion about the judges of the show, calling them 'irrelevant'. Jordan, who left the program in 2014, took to social media to share his thoughts during the emotional final of this year's series. He stated that the leaderboard was not important and that all the contestants were winners in his eyes. However, he did ask his followers who they thought should win.

Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola crowned winners

Despite James Jordan's comments, it was Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola who emerged as the winners of Strictly Come Dancing. They received an overwhelming 59.3 percent of the votes, securing their victory. Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell came in second place with 24.1 percent, while Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin received 16.7 percent.

Former winner criticizes show format

James Jordan is not the only former Strictly star to criticize the show. Darren Gough, who won the competition in 2005, expressed his disappointment with the current format. Gough claimed that the judges tend to rescue certain contestants each week, undermining the public's vote. He stated that he preferred it when the judges picked the winner and that the public enjoyed the journey of the contestants.

Despite the criticism, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola can now celebrate their well-deserved victory in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
