STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are up in arms over potential favouritism of one contestant.

Viewers of the show have been complaining online of a ‘fix’ as they say there might be a discrepancy from Hamza Yassin‘s consistently high score throughout the series.

Hamza has received consistently high scores from the judges

The wildlife photographer has been a consistent favourite with the judges as his average score across the series so far

The former CBeebies personality performed one of his best routines on Sunday night

Hamza, 32, was partnered with Jowita Przystał in the twentieth series of the long-running BBC competition.

The wildlife photographer has been a consistent favourite with the judges as his average score across the series so far – as of time of writing – has been 34.8 out 40.

Tonight’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing will see one more star and their professional partner leave the competition after Saturday’s instalment was moved due to the World Cup scheduling.

But on Sunday, the former CBeebies star took to the dancefloor twice for the semi-final where fans thought he received higher marks from the judges, which also include Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas.

The judges gave him a combined score of 39 for his Charleston, as only Craig Revel Horwood opted to not give him ten points.

He also received 37 for his Waltz, which put him firmly on top of the leader board whilst he broke down in tears.

His highest score has been for his Salsa in week 4 for which he was also awarded 39 out of 40, equal to his Charleston.

His lowest score was for his Jive where he still received over half the points available.

However fans of the series have been up in arms as they claim the judges have purposely been easier on him for his routines.

One fan wrote: “He’s been overmarked all series for me. I feel he has been the judges’ favourite, and scored from that biased position … but the best seen on #Strictly ? Nope.”

Another viewer wrote: “I like Hamza as a bloke, comes across as a really really nice guy, but he gets overmarked week after week.”

A third fan said: “Overmarked massive” alongside a sarcastic expression picture.

Another wrote: “completely overmarked again.”

Whilst a fifth noted: “Hamza has been overmarked all series.”

A sixth viewer asked: “Why are the men constantly overmarked and the women undermarked?”

Hamza was also top of the leader board as he also received high scores for his Waltz

Some fans claim the women have been consistently undermarked in comparison by the judges
