Strictly Come Dancing has announced the first three celebrities for its highly-anticipated Christmas special. Joining this year's lineup is BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent, who will be swapping the red sofa for the dance floor. Sally, 51, will be paired up with professional dancer Graziano Di Prima and is excited to bring some Strictly magic to Christmas night.
Jamie Borthwick: Spreading Christmas Cheer
EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, known for his role as Jay Brown, will also be gracing the Strictly stage this Christmas. Paired with professional dancer Nacy Xu, Jamie is eager to learn a new skill and put his dancing to the test. He's ready to spread Christmas cheer and have a good laugh on the dancefloor.
Dan Snow: Historian Takes on a New Challenge
Broadcaster Dan Snow, known for his work as a historian, TV presenter, and best-selling author, will be stepping out of his comfort zone and onto the dance floor. Paired with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, Dan is both terrified and excited to learn how to dance properly. This is a challenge he couldn't resist!
The Christmas special will air on Christmas Day, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The celebrity contestants will be critiqued by Strictly judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel-Horwood.
The final three celebrities will be revealed on Thursday night's edition of It Takes Two on BBC Two.
