STRICTLY Come Dancing fans were unhappy to see Jayde Adams get the boot on tonight’s show.

The comedian became the fourth person to the leave the competition following a dance off against Molly Rainford.

Strictly fans were surprised to see Jayde go

She went up against Molly in the dance off

Those watching at home felt neither of them should have been in the dance off.

One person raged: “Jade shouldn’t have been in the bottom two. Strictly, you’re on borrowed time, because of some idiot voters…..#Strictly.”

A second wrote: “WHAT IS GOING ON I AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID #strictly.”

And a third added: “Idk what’s worse the fact this is the bottom two tonight when it absolutely shouldn’t be or the fact I’ve just sat through the Grange Hill theme tune a second night in a row? #strictly.”

“This is what happens when you have a crap theme with crap music on @bbcstrictly ….you end up with 2 of the best in a dance off! Really disappointing week on #Strictly ?Gutted for@jaydeadams & @karen_hauer,” said a fourth.

Both couples performed their routines again – Molly and her dance partner Carlos Gu performed their couples choice  to the Grange Hill Theme Tune.

Then Jayde and her dance partner Karen Hauer performed their Charleston to The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

After both couples had danced a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Molly and Carlos.

He said: “Well two very different dances but based on technical ability alone I would like to save Molly and Carlos.”

Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke also chose to save Molly and Carlos.

With three votes to Molly and Carlos it meant they had won the majority vote and would be staying in the competition regardless, however Head Judge Shirley Ballas also said she would have decided to save Molly and Carlos.

Shirley said: “Well both were absolutely superb in the dance off but, on a little bit more precision and quality of movement, I would have saved Molly and Carlos.”

When asked by Tess about her time on the show, Jayde broke down in tears and said: “This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will carry it to my grave, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you [Karen] and learning about so much that will go into my own stuff, in my own work. You are one of the most gifted people I have ever worked with Karen.

“And everyone on this show, said it to me, when I had you, they said ‘you’ve got the best one’ sorry everyone, and I did and you are fantastic and this has been such an honour.

“Not only have I got to be on Strictly Come Dancing but I got to have Karen Hauer, you are amazing, thank you for everything! I’ve done shows before, and nothing holds a candle to the way that this show is run.

“It is an incredible thing to be a part of as a performer, we are so looked after, and in this industry where so many people aren’t looked after, this show is incredible, well done everyone.”

Everyone rushed to say goodbye
