Craig Revel-Horwood, the longest-serving judge on Strictly Come Dancing, is known for his no-nonsense opinions on the show. But it appears that his criticisms extend off camera as well.
The Lasting Judge
Revel-Horwood has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since its debut in 2004, making him the only remaining original judge on the panel.

Over 20 Seasons of Contestants
Throughout his 21 series on-air, Revel-Horwood has witnessed nearly 300 contestants take to the BBC One dance floor.
Craig's Critiques
As we enter the seventh week of the 2023 competition, Craig Revel-Horwood, 58, believes that some of this year's celebrities still have a long way to go. He specifically mentions actor Nigel Harman, 50, and his dance partner Katya as a "wonderful partnership," but notes that Harman becomes nervous and makes mistakes on Saturday nights.
"When he sorts that out, he could go far," Revel-Horwood says.
The judge also expresses concerns about the technique of EastEnders star Bobby Brazier, 20. While he admires Brazier's style and swagger, Revel-Horwood believes his dancing has plateaued and wants to see more precision in his performances.
Acknowledging Improvement
Despite his reputation for harsh critiques, Revel-Horwood is not afraid to give praise when it's due. He singles out former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, 22, as a contestant who consistently improves each week, saying she is "one to watch."
