STRICTLY Come Dancing’s cast have lifted the on the show’s wrap party – and revealed it didn’t go to plan.

The bash has been blasted as “boring” after the BBC hit show’s stars chose an early bedtime over a wild all-nighter.

The Strictly stars have revealed the wrap party did not go to plan

The tour kicks off in Birmingham

After covid cancelled the previous two end-of-series parties, expectations were high to celebrate another record-breaking year

But HOAR can reveal “exhausted” stars snubbed the boozy bash in favour of their beauty sleep.

Fleur East explained: “We had a wrap party, but we all left quite early because we were so tired.

“In our heads, at the start of the series, we thought the wrap party would be huge, but when we actually got there we were all so drained.”

Her co-star Tyler West added: “I’ve never been so tired in my life after the show. It’s like going to the most boring party you’ve ever been to.

“Everyone’s just walking around really sluggish asking when we’re going to bed.”

The Strictly stars are reuniting for the live tour, which kicks off in Birmingham tomorrow night.

But there’s even less of a chance for a cast night out because of the relentless training for the massive arenas.

Tyler’s dance partner Dianne Buswell explained: “They’re long days. Everyone’s always just so exhausted.

“You think Strictly prepares you for that but the arena is three times’ the size of the studio.”

Instead Molly Rainford insists she’s thought up a clever way to keep the performers entertained on the road.

“I have planned a quiz for the tour bus just to pass the time so I’m excited for that,” she said.

In this year’s star-studded full line-up is Strictly champion Hamza Yassin and partner Jowita Przystal, Fleur East dancing with Vito Coppola, Helen Skelton and Kai Widdrington, Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, Ellie Simmonds and Nikita Kuzmin, Tyler West and Dianne Buswell.

They’ll be critiqued by head judge Shirley Ballas and tour director Craig Revel Horwood alongside Anton Du Beke – who joins the panel for the first time on the tour’s 20th anniversary.

Although the judges will be there to give their hot take on the performances, it’s the fans who have the power to decide who wins the Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show. The audience will vote via text for their favourite couple – meaning reigning 2022 champion Hamza risks being beaten by his co-stars.

The Strictly Live Tour launches on January 20 at the Utilita Arena Birmingham before waltzing around the UK to Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the AO Arena Manchester, Sheffield’s Utilita Arena, Newcastle’s Utilita Arena,  London’s O2 Arena, the SSE Arena Belfast, before ending the run at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on February 12.

And in a bid to honour 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis’ legacy, a British Sign Language interpreter will be displayed on two very large screens either side of the stage so that deaf fans can book tickets and sit almost  anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.

Tickets are available at strictlycomedancinglive.com/tour-dates-2023/

The tour will run until February 12
