STRICTLY star Molly Rainford thinks that being a child star scares off men chatting her up.

Molly, 21, who was a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 and went on to star in CBBC’s Nova Jones, says that she never gets racy messages from potential suitors.

And she blames her background on kids’ TV for the absence of romantic offers.

She told HOAR: “I haven’t had any racy DMs. I feel like that’s because I’m a CBBC representative. People see that I’m on a kids’ show…

“So not really had much of that. I think people assume that if you’re on a kids show you are a child.”

During her stint on the BBC ballroom show Molly has been linked to both radio DJ Tyler West and Strictly professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.

But she insisted she is single, after partner Carlos Gu banned her from dating.

And she is channelling all of her energy into her dancing as she prepares to perform two routines in tonight’s semi-final – a Paso Doble to Beyonce’s Survivor and an American Smooth to Adele’s Easy on Me.

Molly admitted: “I’m going to have to find my own Sasha Fierce (Beyonce’s alter ego) for Survivor.

“It has been a bit intense learning two dances. But I like the styles, they are very cool. And they are both so different, which is probably a good thing.

“Carlos and I are both very proud to have got this far – especially given we were pretty unknown in the line-up – so whatever happens now, we’re happy.

“I couldn’t have been blessed with a better partner.

“I said to Carlos the other week: ‘I’m really sorry to have put you through so many dance offs in your first experience.’ He won’t be fazed if he has one next year.

“But I’m actually glad I haven’t had the smoothest ride, because coming back from those bottom two moments has definitely taught me how to get back up.

“It’s taught me resilience for sure.”

Carlos, who made his debut as a pro dancer this year, added: “Molly has been incredible, and to get to the final together would be a dream.

“I’ve said to her: ‘If we do, we’re done. We just have fun and enjoy every second of it.”
