Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington has broken her silence following reports that she would be "snubbing" tonight's final episode of the popular BBC show. The actress, known for her role in Sherlock, is rumored to be feuding with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
Taking to her Instagram account, Amanda posted a photo of the three final couples – Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell – and wished them luck for the final.
Earlier this week, the BBC confirmed that Amanda would not be returning for the final. A spokesperson for the show stated, "Amanda decided to withdraw from the competition, therefore she will not be returning for the final."
Nigel Harman, who also withdrew from the competition due to injury, will be attending the final. A representative for Harman said, "He will be featured in the show alongside other 2023 cast members. He had to leave the competition early due to sustaining an injury, therefore will not be performing in the final."
