WE’RE about halfway through Fornite Chapter 3 Season 4, and while Fortnitemares is keeping everyone’s attention, there’s still challenges up for grabs.
As with every week, there is 20k XP available for each challenge you complete, meaning they are well worth your time.

This week has some tricky challenges to navigate, so there’s no shame in looking for help.

How to accept a bounty from a bounty board within 30 seconds of landing
Bounties are a long-running mechanic in Fortnite that let you earn some extra cash for a little extra work.
They give you a target and a time limit in which you have to take them out, as well as an indication of their location.
However, you don’t actually have to complete the bounty in order to clear this challenge.
Bounty Boards are available all over the map, just make sure you land near one to complete this one.
How to catch a gun while fishing
Just like in real life, when you go fishing in Fortnite, there’s no telling what’s going to come up.
You can pick up a fishing rod in almost any location where there’s water, just look for huts or piers near lakes, rivers or on the beach.
Keep fishing and eventually you’ll get lucky enough to reel in a gun.
Casting your line at bubbling spots in the water will increase your chances of pulling up something rare.
How to deal 200 damage to opponents while at max health and shields
As you don’t start matches at maximum shields you have to spend some time looting chests for shield potions.
After that, you will need to get the drop on another player, or snipe them from range in order to keep your health.
How to eliminate an opponent before the first storm phase begins
It’s not very long after a match begins until the first storm starts, so you’ll have to be quick on the trigger for this one.
Land in a densely populated area such as Greasy Grove or Tilted Towers for your best chance at this.
You only have about two minutes to grab a gun and make the kill, before the storm starts, or another player kills you, whichever is first.
How to fall seven stories or more in chrome blob form
You can pick up the chrome splash item from looting chests or chopping down a chromed tree.
Splash it on yourself and then sprint, and you will turn into a chrome blob.
While in this form you’re immune to fall damage, so you can complete this challenge without sacrificing your health.
You have a few options for getting up high. The skyscrapers in Tilted Towers, the Reality Tree, Flairship or Driftwood will all give you the height you need.
How to land at Tilted Towers, then finish Rank 10 or better
This is one of the most difficult challenges this week, as landing in a densely populated area makes it difficult to survive the early game.
Either you will have to play the opening very aggressively, or get away from Tilted Towers and hide as soon as possible.
With enough attempts, either strategy should work.
How to phase through a chrome wall and deal 75 damage to opponents within 30 seconds
Collect a chrome splash, and then use it on a wall which will allow you to walk through it.
This will allow you to get the drop on an opponent, or if you’re already in a dogfight, throw up a chrome wall and pass in and out for an easy challenge win.
Remember, you don’t need to win the fight, just deal damage. Even if you get taken out, the damage dealt will save until you try again.
