New Game Modes Propel Fortnite to New Heights

The month of December is a game lover's paradise, with plenty of free time to dive into the latest releases. And this year, Fortnite has taken the gaming world by storm with its innovative new game modes.

Reflecting on an Exceptional Year

2023 was undoubtedly a standout year for gaming, with a plethora of highly-rated releases. Resident Evil 4, Spider-Man 2, Starfield, and Tears of the Kingdom, among others, captivated players with their immersive worlds and gripping gameplay. But despite the abundance of top-notch titles, it appears that gamers had other favorites in mind.

Fortnite Reigns Supreme

While games like Grand Theft Auto Online, Call of Duty, EA Sports FC, and Roblox have long dominated the online gaming scene, it was Fortnite that stole the show last month. In fact, Fortnite garnered more playtime than all of those games combined, including popular titles within their respective series.

Unveiling Exciting New Modes

The surge in Fortnite's popularity can be attributed to the introduction of three new game modes alongside the classic Fortnite Battle Royale. Lego Fortnite offers a Minecraft-like experience, where players can collect items, craft, and build. Rocket Racing brings the thrill of racing to Fortnite by incorporating cars from Rocket League. And finally, Fortnite Festival allows players to jam out to popular songs with friends, reminiscent of the beloved Rock Band.
