It's been over a decade since the release of GTA 5, and fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel.
In February 2022, Rockstar confirmed that GTA 6 was in development, but no screenshots or footage were shared.
Trailer Coming Soon
However, the wait is almost over as Rockstar president Sam Houser recently confirmed that a trailer is on its way.
In a statement, Houser wrote: "We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto."
We predicted that the trailer would drop in the first week of December, as The Game Awards airs on December 7.
For the best amount of publicity, Rockstar would likely have to launch the trailer before the event, which is why we predicted the first week of December.
Release Date and Time Revealed
Our predictions were correct, as the release date and time for the GTA 6 trailer have now been revealed.
Grand Theft Auto's official Twitter account tweeted an image of the Rockstar logo with palm trees and a sunset in the background.
The tweet reads: "Trailer 1. Tuesday, December 5, 2023. 9am ET."
This means that the trailer will go live next Tuesday at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm UK time.
What to Expect
As the first trailer, it's unlikely to be long, even though the game has been in development for several years.
