Xbox Series X|S Finds its Niche

Xbox has finally found its niche over PlayStation with the Xbox Series X|S. By offering two styles of console, Xbox allows fans to choose the one that fits their budget perfectly. Gamers can opt for the low-cost Series S or splurge on the Series X with all the bells and whistles.

Game Pass on PlayStation and Nintendo?

Xbox Game Pass, a subscription service that offers a plethora of games, could be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo. Xbox's chief financial officer, Tim Stuart, announced plans to expand Game Pass to these consoles at the Wells Fargo TMT Summit. This marks a significant change in strategy for Xbox, as it aims to bring its first-party experiences and subscription services to every screen that can play games.

Changing the Game

This move by Xbox is a major shift in strategy. Previously, Xbox had made its first-party games exclusive to PC and Xbox consoles. However, with this new announcement, Xbox seems to be embracing a more inclusive approach. This comes in light of Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda and the subsequent exclusivity of games like Starfield to Xbox consoles.

Competition Heats Up

PlayStation revamped its PS Plus service to resemble Xbox Game Pass more closely. While Game Pass has enjoyed tremendous success, it remains to be seen if PS Plus can replicate that level of popularity.
