LEAGUE of Legends is coming to the end of its 2022 season, and to end things with a bang new champion K’Sante has been added to the game.

LoL already has a huge roster of champions to choose from, and K’Sante is just the latest added to the roster.

The K’Sante skin designed in collaboration with Lil Nas X.

However, K’Sante isn’t just an impressive tank, he’s also stylish with skins designed by pop star and fashion icon Lil Nas X.

Here’s everything we know about K’Sante, and League’s collaboration with Lil Nas X.

What is K’Sante’s backstory in League of Legends?

K’Sante is a mighty guardian, who wields weapons forged from an apex predator he once slayed.

He is the hero of the people of his home Nazumah, a coveted oasis amid the sands of Shurima.

After a falling-out with his former partner, K’Sante realised that in order to become a warrior worthy of leading his city, he had to temper his single-minded drive for success.

In order to avoid falling prey to his own pride and find the wisdom he needs to defeat the vicious monsters threatening his people, he now tries to think of his people before his pride.

What role does K’Sante have in League of Legends?

K’Sante is a tank champion, meaning that he focuses on taking damage for the team rather than a high damage output.

He also has a number of attacks which can move big damage dealers on opposite teams away from the main battle.

His weapons are defensive, however, they can also be transformed into lethal blades when he needs to deal damage.

K’Sante’s main aim is to save his allies from harm, by distracting and taking out opposing damage dealers.

What are K’Sante’s abilities in League of Legends?

Here are all the abilities K’Sante can use in League of Legends:

Passive Ability – Dauntless Instinct

This marks enemies for a short period after they are damaged. Attacking a marked enemy will deal additional physical damage.

In All Out, attacking a marked enemy now deals additional true damage.

Ntofo Strikes

This deals physical damage and briefly slows enemies hit. If done twice, K’Sante will fire a shockwave that pulls in the enemies.

In All Out, Ntofo strikes cooldown is reduced, but no longer applies slow.

Path Maker

This is a charge attack that reduces incoming damage for a short duration while charging.

When released, K’Sante runs forward dealing a percentage of his max health as physical damage.

It also applies knockback and stuns enemies for a short time. The duration of these effects is based on how long the move was charged for.

In All Out, the cooldown is refreshed, damage taken reduction is increased, it deals an additional amount of physical damage based on charge time, and the charge and dash speed are doubled.

Footwork

This ability makes K’Sante dash forward with a shield for a short duration. Other abilities can also be cast at this time.

If he dashes towards an ally, the distance of the dash will increase and the ally will also be shielded.

In All Out, dash speed is increased. Dashing to a targeted location has increased range and can go over walls.

All Out

This will deal physical damage and knockback to enemies. If they hit a wall, they will take a greater amount of physical damage.

If they are knocked back over a wall, they will become stunned briefly. K’Sante can then dash to the enemy and extend the duration of All Out.

During this he will lose a percentage of his max health, bonus armour, and bonus magic resistance.

He will however gain attack damage, omnivamp, and transform his abilities.

How to unlock K’Sante skins designed by Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X co-designed three skins in collaboration with developer Riot Games.
