New Game Coming to PlayStation Day One

PlayStation is stepping up its game by releasing new titles on its subscription service, PS Plus. Previously, PlayStation had been reluctant to add new games, but that is about to change. The highly anticipated multiplayer game, Foamstars, will be available on PS Plus as soon as it is released. This is a pleasant surprise for PlayStation fans.

Release Date and Availability

Foamstars will be launched on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, and will be available on all tiers of PS Plus, including Essential. Players can enjoy the game on both PS4 and PS5. However, they will only have one month to grab it. The game will be available on PS Plus until Monday, March 4, 2024, after which it will be removed from the service. But don't worry, if you redeem it within this month, it will remain in your library as long as you are a subscriber.

Purchase Options

For non-subscribers, Foamstars can still be purchased separately for $29.99 (approx. £24.99). Square Enix, the developer of the game, will also be offering free seasonal content and a separate Season Pass that can be purchased for additional features.

Game Modes and Missions

Foamstars offers a variety of game modes, including Smash the Star, Happy Bath Survival, and Rubber Duck Party. Most modes will require an online subscription to play. Additionally, the game features single-player and team-based missions where players combat waves of enemies.
