Pokémon lovers, get your gaming devices ready! An exciting new Pokémon has been announced as the target of the upcoming October 7-star Tera Raid battles. Hisuian Decidueye with the Mightiest Mark and a Grass Tera Type will be making an appearance in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet very soon.
Join the Tera Raid battle event in October
Mark your calendars for October 6-8 and October 13-15, 2023, because that's when the Tera Raid battle event will be taking place. It's your chance to catch the elusive Hisuian Decidueye!
Discover a new region and Pokémon
Hisuian Pokémon are not normally found in the Paldea region of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. They are native to the Hisui region, the setting of another game in the Pokémon series called Pokémon Legends: Arceus. So get ready to explore a new region and encounter exciting Pokémon!
Team up with friends and defeat the Tera Pokémon
In Tera Raids, players must join forces with three other trainers to take on a powerful Tera Pokémon within the time limit. These Pokémon encounters vary during the event and often feature rare Tera types. So grab your friends and get ready for a thrilling battle!
How to join a Tera Raid
If you want to participate in the Tera Raid battles, follow these steps:
- Select the Poké Portal from the game menu (X button).
- Choose Mystery Gift.
- Select Check Poké Portal News to download the latest update.
Once you have completed certain postgame events, you will be able to find black crystals throughout the world. Interact with these black crystals to start the Tera Raid battles. Don't worry if you haven't completed those events yet, you can still join a battle in multiplayer mode.
Be sure to team up for the challenge
The 7-star Tera Raids are not to be taken lightly, so make sure you team up with friends to improve your chances of success. Work together and strategize to defeat the mighty Hisuian Decidueye!
