How to Catch The Mighty Blastoise
One Blastoise raid will appear daily from Tuesday, March 5, 2024, until Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Defeat Blastoise in battle to catch it. Remember, you can only catch one Blastoise even if you defeat it multiple times.
About Blastoise in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Blastoise is known for being very defensive and sets up Iron Defense, making physical attacks almost useless. It relies on chipping down opponents and stalling out the timer. Be prepared with Pokémon that aren't weak to Water-, Steel-, and Fighting-type attacks.
Blastoise's Moves and Stats
At level 100, Blastoise has a specific set of moves including Withdraw, Iron Defense, Aura Sphere, and more. Its nature is Naive, ability is Rain Dish, and Tera type is Steel. Be ready for its strategies in battle.
Countering Blastoise – Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The best counter for Blastoise raid is Gastrodon, known for its great typing and the ability Storm Drain. Gastrodon can resist Blastoise's attacks and hit back hard with Earth Power. Support moves like Mud-Slap and Amnesia can also be beneficial in battle.
