POKÉMON has announced a new limited-time event for Scarlet & Violet players, offering them the chance to catch a powerful new 'mon.
Challenging Raid
Players will need to participate in a tough raid during the event to secure their new Pokémon.
Event Details
The event will run over two weekends, with the first weekend starting on Friday, April 5, 2024, and ending on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
The second weekend of raids will take place from Friday, April 12, 2024, to Sunday, April 14, 2024.
Featured Pokémon
The raid will feature the Generation 2 starter, Meganium, which was introduced in the Indigo Disk DLC.
Players without the DLC will have the opportunity to capture Meganium during this event.
Unique Moves and Abilities
Meganium will have the Psychic Tera type and is expected to have moves like Zen Headbutt and powerful Grass-type moves.
It will also possess the Leaf Guard ability, allowing it to set up the sun to prevent status conditions.
Seven-Star Tera Raids
Seven-star Tera Raids are known for their difficulty, with boosted stats, more moves, and a Tera Shield that reduces damage taken by the Pokémon.
