Your PS5 has some clever settings that you should consider activating
Auto-Updates
Have you ever had the frustrating experience of logging in to play a game only to find that it requires an update? And to make matters worse, these updates can sometimes be huge and time-consuming. Don't let this ruin your playtime! Activate the auto-updates feature on your PS5 by going to Settings > System > System Software Update and Settings. You should also enable automatic updates in Settings > Saved Data and Game Settings. Just remember to leave your PS5 in Rest Mode for this feature to work properly. To set up Rest Mode, go to Settings > System > Power Saving > Features > Available in Rest Mode and select Rest Mode as your preferred option when turning off your PS5 in the future.
Game Help
Getting stuck in a game, especially on a tricky puzzle, can be a major buzzkill. But fear not, Sony has a solution for you! If you are a PS Plus subscriber, you can take advantage of the Game Help feature. When you find yourself stuck, simply press the PS button on your DualSense controller. If the game you're playing supports Game Help, a hint card will appear. You can choose the objective and hint using L1/R1 buttons. You can even pin these hints to the side of the screen so you can keep playing while having the clues visible.
Game Spoiler Blocker
Just like in movies, video games can have thrilling and twisty storylines. But the last thing you want is to have the plot spoiled by a clip or screenshot on your Home Screen or a message from a PlayStation friend. To protect yourself from these spoilers, set up Spoiler Warnings on your PS5. Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Spoiler Warnings and turn on Warn About Game Spoilers. You can choose between Only Spoilers Identified By Game Developers or Everything You Haven't Seen Yet. Please note that this feature only works for PS5 games and not older titles.
