ONE of the newest games in the Resident Evil franchise has appeared in baskets for just £7.50 due to a surprise currency exchange rate hack.

The Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, which was released in October last year, is currently 40 per cent off in Turkey’s PlayStation store.

The Resident Evil Village Gold Edition game is compatible with both PS4 and PS5 consoles

The Gold Edition game includes multiple expansions, including Resident Evil Village, Winters’ Expansion, Trauma Pack, Resident Evil Village VR Mode, Resident Evil Re:Verse.

It’s also compatible with both PS4 and PS5 consoles and features a Third Person Mode, which has emerged as a crowd pleaser among players.

It is being sold for 263,40 Turkish Lera (TL), down from 439,00 TL.

But when that figure is converted to pound sterling, it’ll cost Brits just £7.50.

For folks in the US, the game – if bought on the Turkish PlayStation store – comes to $9.70.

It’s a bargain price for a game that is being sold in Argos for £39.99 and Amazon for £32.99 right now.

The 18-rated game is also available to buy for cheap on the Turkish Xbox store.

To be able to buy a game from the Turkish PlayStation or Xbox store, shoppers will need to download a VPN – also known as a Virtual Private Network.

By connecting to a VPN server in another country, you will get a valid IP address there.

If your IP address matches that of one that can be found in the target country, you’ll be able to gain foreign access to its PlayStation store – and others all around the world.

You can actually save heaps of cash by doing this, because of the varying prices that games sell for around the world.
