Steam users frustrated with technical difficulties

Users of online game platform Steam have been experiencing technical difficulties, leaving many frustrated. Reports of Steam being down most recently occurred on August 19, 2023. Twitter users took to the platform to complain about being unable to use the Steam app as normal. According to Downdetector, a site that tracks apps and websites' statuses, 69 percent of users had trouble logging in and 19 percent had issues with the server connection. Over 300 people reported problems with the app starting around 10am ET.
