XBOX’S latest blockbuster release has been voted one of the worst games of all time by Steam players.

Games on Steam are rated by the percentage of positive reviews they receive by players.

The scariest part of Redfall was its PC performance.

However, Xbox’s latest exclusive currently sits as the 14th worst reviewed game of all time, with just 28% of ratings being positive.

Arcane Studios’ Redfall was set to be Xbox’s biggest release in the first half of 2023.

However, due to technical issues, particularly on PC, players have been giving it consistently poor reviews.

Xbox Game Studios CEO Phil Spencer has apologised for the issues and promised improvements.

He said: “We have a good timeline [and] we’re gonna continue to work on the game.

“We’ve shown a commitment to games like Sea of Thieves and Grounded to continue to go and build games.

“I also know these games are $70, and I’m gonna take full responsibility for launching a game that needs to be great.”

We don’t currently know when these promised fixes will arrive, but it appears that it is already too late for fans.

Aside from bugs, there are huge flaws with the game’s design, such as an ability that lets you skip large parts of the map.
