Louis made a dig at Little Mix as he said ‘the world needs a new girl group’
Little Mix announced just days before the release of album LM5 last year that they’d split from Simon Cowell’s label Syco.
Cowell admitted at the time that it had been an “embarrassing” turn of events that had left him “annoyed”.
But The Woman Like Me insisted that it was time for them to branch out and have more creative control.
They said: “We were with Syco for seven years and had an incredible journey but it’s going to be nice to change it up and get a new view on us.”

The group got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell’s pals
Leigh-Anne Pinnock told The Sun. “A change and a fresh start is a good thing, we’re excited.
“I think it’s going to be good for us as well. I’m intrigued to see what people want to do for us.
“We definitely speak our mind now. If we don’t like it, we always say it.”
