AMANDA Holden was a dead ringer for Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe as she transformed into the original blonde bombshell for a special birthday party.
The radio host and TV star, 52, recreated Marilyn’s most famous look, donning a floaty white dress, platinum wig and a bright red lipstick.
She struck the same pose as Marilyn from her famous Seven Year Itch photo that was taken by her friend Sam Shaw in 1954.
Amanda appeared to revel in the cosplay moment, giving her all to bring the picture to life.
One fan commented: “You look incredible.”
Another said: “The most beautiful Marilyn Monroe I’ve seen.”
A third posted: “Wow you look stunning.”
Marilyn lived a troubled childhood in foster care before becoming a sex symbol in the 50s and 60s.
She became a bankable Hollywood star after success in a string of comedy films and graced the cover of Playboy after nude shots from her past were brought to light.
The thrice married star tragically died of a drug overdose aged 36 in 1962 and was immortalised as the ultimate Hollywood pin-up.
Meanwhile, Amanda paid a heartfelt tribute to husband Chris today for Father’s Day.
She shared a family picture featuring daughters – Lexie and Hollie – from a New York holiday and wrote: “You absolutely love your husband.. you don’t think you could love them more!!… and then you watch them become a Daddy… sometimes getting it right, sometimes getting it wrong but in all times.. a strong, wise, loving very funny presence in their lives.
“Our girls are lucky to have you Chrispy!! My world right there.”
