DANCING on Ice fans have insisted Stephen Mulhern “gave away” the results of yesterday’s final before the announcement.

Last night’s Dancing on Ice final saw Ryan Thomas and Amani Fancy crowned this year’s skating champions.

Fans think Stephen spoiled the result before the winners were announced

It was also noticed that Stephen suffered a slip of the tongue when he closed the show

Miles Nazaire and Vanessa Bauer were the runners-up – but host Stephen, 46, appeared to make his way over to comfort them before his co-host Holly Willoughby announced the winners.

Commenting on actor Ryan’s victory, one fan wrote: “Pleased he won although Stephen made it obvious by going over to console Miles and Vanessa before the results were given.”

Another said: “I clocked that as well! Miles was undermarked the whole series.”

Stephen also suffered a slip of the tongue last night and got the winners mixed up.

He was given the job of closing the show by congratulating the champs – but named Vanessa, 27, instead of 26-year-old Amani.

And the mistake didn’t go unnoticed by viewers at home.

One wrote on social media: “Stephen messed up at the end saying your winners Ryan and Vanessa instead of Amani…”

And another added: “Well Steven gave the result away with his commiseration face to Miles before results were announced.. plus he said Ryan and Vanessa (2nd time) as winners instead of Amani.”

Meanwhile Ryan and Miles’ fellow finalist Greg Rutherford was forced out of the competition at the last minute after suffering a nasty injury.

The ITV show’s medic appeared on-screen to break the news that Greg had sustained an injury from a “really bad accident” during rehearsals.

He later shared an update, telling fans: “Recovery sort of starts now… after a pretty rough first night, I’m looking forward to getting everything sorted and sewn up so I can get back to normal.”
