DANCING On Ice have revealed a shock elimination twist ahead of this weekend’s brutal double dumping.

The ITV show returns to our screens this Sunday – and nobody is safe.

Dancing On Ice have revealed a huge twist this weekend

The two couples in the bottom two will not have to take part in the skate off.

The celebrity and professional dancer who receives the lowest score will have to leave the competition immediately, according to MailOnline.

Their final results will be the public and judges’ scores added together.

But then the famous faces with the next lowest scores will have to take part in the skate off.

Presenter Holly Willougby teased what was going to happen last week.

During the instalment, she said: “I can give you a bit of a clue about something that is going to happen.

“Because as we all know next week is Musicals Week right?

“But what you don’t know is that actually next week there is going to be a double elimination.”

Last week  Lou Sanders and Claire Sweeney were forced to take part in the dreaded skate-off to keep their place in the contest.

The judges all voted for to save Lou, so that meant that Coronation Street actress Claire who was eliminated from the show.
