However, it was another soap star who caught Dancing on Ice viewers’ attention after they were spotted in the audience.

Zöe Lucker sat alongside The Traitors winner Harry Clark, and stunned those watching at home with her ageless appearance.

Zöe, 49, is best known for her role as Tanya Turner in Footballers Wives, but also for playing Vanessa Gold in EastEnders.

It’s been more than a decade since Zöe was on the BBC soap, but after her latest TV cameo, fans are now desperate for her to return to Albert Square.

Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one fan wrote alongside clips of some of Vanessa’s most dramatic scenes: “NEED A VANESSA GOLD RETURN ASAP.”

Another tweeted: “Wow I’ve not seen Zoe Lucker on the TV for ages I remember her on Eastenders but I’m glad she’s looking well and maybe next year you might be on the ice Zoe? :)”

A third added: “zoe lucker is brilliant btw.”

Meanwhile a fourth shared: “Never mind Harry that’s the queen that is Zoe Lucker. get back on our screens right now queen we miss you x”.

During her time in EastEnders, Vanessa had a relationship with Max Branning, but was left devastated when she discovered he was cheating on her with ex-wife Tanya.

In an iconic scene, Vanessa trashed the room while raging ‘bubbles in the fridge!’, a moment that has become a viral meme on social media.

Zöe recently opened up about the infamous scene, telling Attitude magazine: “That scene was originally just one line, and the stage directions were ‘Vanessa trashes the house’, as she’d just come from finding out that Max was having an affair.

“When I was standing at the curtains, it was almost like I needed to build up a momentum. I didn’t know I was going to say it three times, but it just happened like that. We did it in one take.”

She continued: “It’d have been awful if you did something like that in real life, but being able to vent like that was just great.

“It took a while for me to calm down afterwards, because it was totally out of control. I was a bit zoned out and super shaky.

“People still send me their versions of ‘Bubbly’s in the fridge’ all the time. It’s brilliant; I love it!”
