HOLLY Willoughby’s husband Dan Baldwin treated her to a posh £1650-a-night stay at the lavish Port Lympne Safari Park Lion Lodge to celebrate her birthday.

The Dancing On Ice host turned 43 yesterday and spent a day at the 600-acre resort with TV executive Dan and their three children.

Holly was spotted being driven around Port Lympne in a 4×4 car with her family to see the tigers, giraffes and cheetahs on site before retiring in one of the two posh Lion cabins.

An onlooker said: “Holly looked like she was having a ball on her birthday and couldn’t stop smiling.

“She stayed in one of Port Lympne’s two lodges which allows visitors to stay with the lions. It’s an incredible experience and is very luxurious.

“They got to spend the day being driven around the safari park before settling down and enjoying last night together in a lodge as a family.

“It has been a tough few months for Holly so to get away and do something so special with her family for her birthday would have been perfect.”

Holly joins public figures including Cheryl Tweedy, Rio Ferdinand and Boris Johnson who have all enjoyed stays at the Lion Lodge.

The rooms at the resort boast “guests feel like a film star on safari-vacation” and feature log fires and enormous picture windows so that you can watch the lions and their cubs.

The master bedroom has a spiral staircase that leads up to a mezzanine room with extra beds.

Outside there is a terrace with a fire pit and a private garden while the bathroom also features a huge window which looks straight out onto the lion’s habitat.

After hours guests are given access to a golf buggy so they can tour around the enormous site which is located in Kent.

Holly, who will return to host Dancing On Ice tonight, has had a tough few months following an alleged kidnap plot which saw her withdraw from public life.

She came back to host the ITV skating show with her pal Stephen Mulhern after Phillip Schofield quit ITV last summer.
