OTI Mabuse has revealed she had to fight back tears as she took her newborn daughter on a flight to Germany.

The new mum, 33, has never flown with her three-month-old baby before and admits the experience left her incredibly anxious.

Oti was flying to Germany to visit her sister – Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse – and she was desperate for her daughter to feel “calm and comfortable”.

But before she had even stepped onto the plane, Oti admitted she was trying not to cry.

Sharing a clip of herself in the airport next to her buggy, Oti told her followers on Instagram: “Man this parenting business is a trip.

“I’ve never held back tears so long in my life – everything is a first and I want her to feel calm and comfortable.

“I was so nervous she would be crying but she’s laughing, interested and most importantly not scared at all.”

Oti added: “We are such lucky parents. Now FOR THE ACTUAL FLIGHT. Wish us luck!”

Luckily for Oti and her husband Marius Lepure , their flight to Germany was plain sailing and their daughter – who they have decided not to name publicly – was a dream.

“All in all!!! A great first experience!” Oti admitted, once on the other side.

“Going back home tomorrow solo. Let’s see how that goes.”

Her little girl arrived two months early and the Dancing On Ice judge endured a traumatic 16-hour labour.

The baby spent the next six weeks in neonatal care at University College London Hospital as she was born with an infection after Oti developed sepsis.

In February, Oti thanked the NHS for saving her daughter’s life and revealed to HOAR On Sunday that she and Marius were even given therapy because of their ordeal.

Despite the rough start, Oti has since blossomed into motherhood and looks delighted to be visiting her famous sister with her baby.

The ex Strictly pro has also given fans some tips about how she made the flight with her tot go smoothly.

Oti admitted she booked the flights “around her sleeping schedule” and invested in a breastfeeding shirt.

This meant Oti could feed her daughter the dark under the black fabric and could let her sleep on her skin.

Heaping praise on her supportive husband, Oti added: “Daddy was a rockstar too!”
