Celebrities are constantly put under pressure to look good. So it will come as no surprise that some male stars opt for some surgical help when it comes to losing their locks. However, after some speculation for Fred Sirieix’s fans, it has been revealed that he hasn’t undergone a hair transplant. This type of cosmetic surgery is used to target male and female pattern baldness. Results can permanently change your appearance, but the hairs can take over a year to grow in entirely. There are a number of celebrities who have been very honest about having a hair transplant. Former Westlife star Brian McFadden revealed he felt “self-conscious” at his thinning hair and receding hairline, so he opted for the transplant. Heartthrob Calum Best said he had three hair transplants before going into the Celebrity Big Brother house. X Factor star Jake Quickenden also opted for this cosmetic procedure after “years of anxiety and paranoia”. Cold Feet star James Nesbitt is also one of many famous faces to admit to undertaking a hair transplant.
What Fred Sirieix Has Said
During his stint on I’m A Celebrity 2023, Fred broke his silence on whether or not he’d had a hair transplant. During a video, which was posted on the ITV reality show’s Instagram account, the contestants were asked a series of quickfire questions, which included: “What’s the funniest thing you’ve read about yourself that wasn’t true?” Fred’s answer was that people wrongly assumed that he wore a wig or had undergone a hair transplant. “I’ll tell you what it is. It’s that everybody thinks I’ve got a toupee or I went to Turkey to get new hair,” he said. “I just grew it!”
Other Surgeries Fred Sirieix Has Had
Although Fred has not said if he has ever had cosmetic surgery, he has previously revealed that he had both of his knees operated on. In December 2022, the TV star posted a video from his hospital bed after waking up from the very serious surgery. He told his followers on Instagram: “Right… double knee operation was a success. I’m still coming around from the anesthesia but all good! I’m about to have my Earl Grey tea.”
