Babatúndé was discussing conspiracy theories with Matt Hancock

Babatúndé told Matt: “I’m a conspiracy theorist. I love conspiracy theories.”

The former health secretary who was in charge of rolling out the Covid vaccine, told Babatúndé: “I’ve come into contact with a couple of conspiracy theories.

“As in, there’s a few about me. There’s one that Bill Gates and I conspired to create the vaccine for Covid in order to put microchips in everybody’s blood streams, so that we could control people.”

Babatúndé went into the Bush Telegraph, telling viewers: “I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I do love a good conspiracy theory.

“I wasn’t going to tell him [Matt], but that was one I kind of… erm… you know, believed.”

He then laughed before adding: “Nah, nah I didn’t believe that.”

Comic Seann Walsh pushed Matt to swear the conspiracy theory was a fake.

“I can confirm that is not true,” he said.

One viewer said: Some how I do believe that Babatunde did believe that theory

“Why do I feel like Babatunde actually believed it?”, another asked.

Someone else insisted: “Babatunde believing the microchip thing but not wanting to admit it.”

“Babatunde scared me by saying he believed that conspiracy theory for a second”, added another.
