I’M A Celebrity star Scarlette Douglas attacked Matt Hancock on Twitter telling him “get out of here” in an unearthed tweet.

The Place In HOAR host blasted the former Health Secretary after HOAR exposed him for breaking his own lockdown rules by having an affair at work.

Scarlette Douglas will come face to face with Matt Hancock in the I’m A Celebrity jungle later this month
The disgraced former Health Secretary has signed up to the primetime reality TV show

She wrote on Twitter shortly after Matt, 44, was forced to resign from his Government post last year: “Good, get him out of here.”

Loose Women star Charlene White, who will also appear in the jungle, lost a beloved Aunt to Covid in 2020.

She has also previously been critical of the Covid strategy while Mr Hancock was health secretary.

She tweeted in January 2021: “We’re one of the richest nations in the country, with one of the highest Covid death rates.

“To all of you for whom ‘more than 100k deaths’ is an actual loved one, or several loved ones… I get it… today just feels like a lot. Kinda glad it’s my day off tbh.”

Her comments came after the death of her great aunt Dell who passed away from Covid-19 at St Thomas’ Hospital.

After the funeral she told the Loose Women panel: “My family stuck by the rules.

“We had to bury family members without being able to hug each other.”

It means that Charlene and Scarlette could be among those who take issue with sharing the jungle camp with Matt.

I’m A Celeb‘s executive producer Olly Nash has defended the show for signing up Matt.

He said it was down to Matt whether he appeared on the show or not.

He told the Mirror: “It’s always an individual’s choice to come into camp, isn’t it?

“And at any point, any celebrity can say I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!. So that’s the only thing really to add, I think.”

However, some fans have vowed to switch off.

One said: “Which thoughtless moron thought it would be a good idea? He’s getting paid a wedge too. Makes your blood boil… really want to watch it but no way should that cretin be involved.”

Another said: “Couldn’t possibly watch the egotistical horror of Matt Hancock on #ImACeleb You’ve got to question that choice.”

A third ranted: “Matt Hancock cashing in on the death of 1000’s of people on his watch and having an affair in the public eye. Hideous.”
