I’M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Owen Warner has left fans puzzled after making a big blunder during the latest Bushtucker Trial.
The Hollyoaks star, 23, was seen taking on Boiling Point, which Chris Moyles failed at miserably earlier in the series.
Former Radio 1 DJ Chris only managed to get one star for camp – and Owen was determined to better that.
But despite speeding through with a set of spanners, Owen announced: “Get me out of here! Get me out of this room!”
In the ITV1 show’s history, celebs who shout “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!” are pulled out and walk away with zero stars, no matter how many they had already gained.
When Owen shouted to get him out, however, I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly just laughed.
“What did you say?” Ant shouted. Dec added: “You’re not saying that, are you?!”
Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to react to Owen’s mistake.
One tweeted: “Only Owen could say #ImACeleb get me out of here, by accident!”
Another confused fan asked: “Didn’t the celebrity previously lose all stars (including ones they had already collected) when they shouted “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” during the trial? If so, why did @ITV change this?”
Although Chris only managed to get one star during the Boiling Point trial, Owen powered through his fears and took back nine to camp.
He even managed to get one star when locked in a tiny box with a giant snake.
“Did you see the size of that snake?” he gasped to Ant and Dec once it was all over.
“I was doing a star and looked up and saw…pffff. The girth on it!”
