Hollyoaks legend Nick Pickard has revealed a terrifying moment in the I’m a Celebrity jungle that wasn’t caught on camera. The 48-year-old actor, who became the fourth person to be eliminated from the show this week, opened up about an incident involving his former co-star Tony Bellew.
Security is called after Tony Bellew’s frightening discovery
Nick Pickard has disclosed that security rushed to the camp after Tony Bellew called for back-up. Bellew had discovered a massive huntsman spider and alerted the others through their radios. The security team attempted to catch the spider, but it was too fast and eventually batted away into the bushes. Despite the nonchalant response, Bellew couldn’t sleep in the camp that night due to the spider’s size.
Weight loss in the jungle
After his elimination, Nick Pickard shared how much weight he had lost during his time on the show. Living on a diet of rice and beans, he revealed that he had lost one stone three pounds. Pickard also mentioned that the show’s medics wouldn’t show him the scales during the trials and weigh-ins.
