Nigel Farage’s girlfriend, Laure Ferrari, was spotted looking red hot on the beach in Australia as she enjoys some downtime before the I’m A Celebrity final. The 44-year-old French politician has been relaxing on the Gold Coast while her divisive other half toughs it out in the jungle.
Laure Ferrari headed to the beach to soak up the sun ahead of the I’m A Celebrity final. While Nigel Farage is enduring life in the jungle, Laure made the most of her time on the beach, scrolling through her phone and sunbathing.
A Relaxing Getaway
According to a source, Laure seems unfazed by Nigel’s time in camp. After enjoying some drinks with Nigel’s daughter and agent, she headed to the beach for a peaceful 30 minutes. It appears that she is taking advantage of the luxury and tranquility of the Gold Coast.
Life with Nigel
Laure revealed that life at home with Nigel is “very good.” However, she did mention that he doesn’t do any hoovering. On the other hand, he excels at doing the dishes. In fact, Nigel was even appointed as the chief pot washer in the jungle by camp leader Nella Rose.
Laure’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity has caused quite a stir in the media. However, she believes that going public with their relationship was the right decision. She stated that it wouldn’t make sense to hide and support Nigel from behind closed doors. Laure wants to make it clear that she exists and supports him.
A Love Story
Laure and Nigel first met in 2007 when she was working as a waitress in Strasbourg, France. Nigel later appointed her as a parliamentary assistant and she eventually became the PR director of his parliamentary group. Now, sixteen years later, Laure is standing by his side in the jungle.
Nigel’s mother, Barbara Farage, is also a fan of Laure. Barbara described her as a chic, French lady who is good for Nigel. She added that Laure loves him and always wants to be by his side.
No More Politicians?
It seems that Nigel may be the last politician to appear on I’m A Celebrity for a while. Hosts Ant and Dec have vowed to ban Parliamentarians from the show following Matt Hancock’s appearance last year. During a live video, Dec stated that he would “put a motion through” to ensure no politicians are on the show in 2024.
Laure enjoyed a swim in the ocean, looking to be thoroughly enjoying her time in Australia. While Nigel continues his jungle adventure, Laure will be waiting on the other side of the bridge for his eventual exit.
