Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, made an appearance on This Morning as a guest host and revealed that she has been asked to participate in I’m A Celebrity every year, but has always turned it down. She also shared that she has declined offers to appear on other shows like Dancing On Ice and Strictly.

During the show, Sarah and fellow guest Gyles Brandreth both disclosed that they had been offered ‘big money’ to join the popular reality show. However, Sarah firmly stated that she would never consider going into the jungle.

When asked about potentially taking part in I’m A Celebrity, Sarah responded, “No no, I think my life has been wonderful.” Host Dermot O’Leary jokingly added, “Your whole life has been Dancing on the Ice.”
The Collapse of Talks
Last month, it was revealed that Sarah had been in talks to appear on I’m A Celebrity this year. However, negotiations fell through when she refused to discuss her ex-husband, Prince Andrew. Sarah wanted to ensure that she would not be asked about him during her time on the show.

An ITV source shared that the network had made every effort to secure Sarah as a contestant and was very close to finalizing the deal. However, Sarah was not comfortable with the possibility of being put on the spot and discussing her personal life in front of millions of viewers. In the end, neither side was willing to compromise.

Sarah, who is the mother of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, has remained loyal to Prince Andrew amidst the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and allegations made by Virginia Giuffre. Despite divorcing in 1996, Sarah still lives with Andrew.
