CAROLINE Flack is planning a sensational comeback once she has “reinvented herself” following her assault charge.
The 40-year-old star caused shockwaves when she was arrested for allegedly attacking boyfriend Lewis Burton while he was sleeping last month.
And once her trial is over, Caroline is planning to return all guns blazing as she ditches her party-girl image.
A source explained: “Caroline has been avoiding the usual celeb haunts. Shes been going on long hikes, reading, doing yoga and taking care of herself with spa treatments, healthy food and lots of sleep.
“She is more keen than ever to get out of the city and escape the stress of it all.”
The insider went on to tell Closer magazine that once she and Lewis are allowed to reunite, they will be swapping “parties and boozing for dog walking and quiet nights in front of the TV.”
Caroline was left devastated when she was left with no choice but to step down as the host of Love Island for the current winter series of the show.
Laura Whitmore was drafted in as a last-minute replacement following Caroline’s arrest in December.
Officers were called to her London home when she allegedly hit Lewis, 26, with a lamp while he slept.
Caroline faces court in March after she pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this month.
Laura previously revealed how Caroline had been “incredibly gracious” since she quit, with Love Island bosses said to be “in constant contact” with the presenter – and that the “door is open” for her return to the show.
Laura received a mixed review from fans when she made her debut on Sunday’s launch show, with many taking to social media to heap praise on the Irish beauty.
