Gemma Owen made a cheeky swipe at footballer dad Michael in a new advert

Gemma was all smiles as she took the parcel away from the delivery woman

Gemma is Michael’s oldest child with wife Louise

The advert starts with a van parking up outside their incredible £4m mansion.

A delivery woman rings the door and Michael, 42, opens the door.

She says: “I’ve got a package for the boss. The big deal of the house.”

Ex Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid star Michael steps down and thanks her for delivering him the parcel.

However, Gemma, 19 – who shot to fame on this year’s series of Love Island – appears from behind him and asks if the parcel is for her and takes it out of her dad’s hand.

As a confused Michael turns back around, the delivery woman tells her: “Well, she is a big deal.”

Later on Michael is seen chatting with the delivery woman off camera.

He says: “I’ve been in the industry twenty-five years, she’s only been in it two months.

“I mean, clearly I’m the big deal?”

Gemma shared the video on her account with the caption: “Our acting skills definitely aren’t a big deal?.”

Fans rushed to the comments section to share how funny they found the ad.

One said: “this is my funniest thing ever.”

A second wrote: “Omggg I love thiss ???.”

“this is hilarious??,” a third chimed in.

The swipe is that the whole joke of the advert is that she is more famous than him.

Gemma placed second on Love Island this year alongside her boyfriend Luca Bish, 23.

Michael has had a very successful football career over the years.

He won the Premier League title with Manchester United in 2011, won the FA Cup and UEFA Cup with Liverpool in 2001.

The footie legend has also won the League Cup three times, the European Super Cup twice and won the Premier League golden boot in 1997/96 and 98/99.
