ALDI has made a change to its website – and it’s good new for customers.
The German discounter has launched a new “Amazing Savings” page.

It features a number of money-saving hacks, from budget meal recipes to the latest food deals and offers.
Plus, there’s a page dedicated to energy-saving products including heated airers and air fryers.
Sunday Times food writer Becky Excell and recipe ideas from Instagram user Cardiff Mum feature on the page too.
It comes with energy bills standing at £2,500 a year for the average household.
It means families are looking for ways to slash their costs whichever way possible, from buying energy-saving products to getting more savvy with the heating.
Richard Thornton, communications director at Aldi UK, said: “Amid budget pressures due to the current cost of living, we know that things are becoming much more difficult for UK households.
“That’s why we are more committed than ever to offering the lowest prices, while also doing whatever we can to further support customers.”
Of course, you should always shop around when looking for the best deals.
Just because Aldi is selling products through its Amazing Savings page that doesn’t mean you can’t get them cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like trolley.co.uk can be useful – it lets you compare the prices of thousands of products across a number of high street supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Iceland.
Pricespy.co.uk lets you compare prices across over 6,000 shops too – on everything from trainers and perfume, to tech and DIY tools.
A simple Google search for similar-style items can reveal whether you could save money buying a product elsewhere too.
For example, Aldi is selling an Ambiano white kettle for £12.99 and it comes with a 1850 – 2200 wattage power and 1.7litre capacity.
But George at Asda is selling a 2200 watt kettle with 1.7litre capacity for £7.50.
How else can I save on my supermarket shop?
There are some other tricks you can employ to save on your supermarket shop – and some are pretty obvious too.
Making a list is one way and it means you’ll be less likely to make any rash purchases or enticed in by unwanted offers.
You could try “downshifting” too, which involves going for supermarkets’ own brand goods.
Martin Lewis says the trick could save you around 30% on your yearly shopping bill.
Some supermarkets run “wonky” veg schemes as well, where you pay less for fresh produce that’s misshapen or imperfect.
Lidl, for example, has its Waste Not scheme where you can get a whopping five kilos of fruit and veg for just £1.50.
If you’ve got the time, you can try opting for yellow sticker products.
Supermarkets put the stickers on items to show they are reduced.
But, be careful as fresh products are often reduced because they are due to go out of date, so you might have to freeze them unless you are going to eat them the same day.
In other news, major burger chain Byron has gone into administration with nine restaurants to close immediately.
Plus, shoppers have been going wild for Iceland’s new hash brown breakfast item.
And Aldi was announced as the cheapest supermarket of 2022 by consumer group Which?
