Shoppers in Lancashire are devastated after a popular homeware store announced its closure. This comes just days after another store from the same brand shut its doors, leaving customers shocked.
Fab Interiors have announced the closure of their Poulton store
Focus on Larger Stores
Following the closure of their Garstang road store, Fab Interiors has made the difficult decision to close their Poulton store as well. The reason cited is the "proximity of our flagship store in Preston." The company wants to concentrate its efforts on larger sites where its full collections can be displayed in a more desirable setting.
Closing Down Sale
The Poulton store will hold a closing down sale starting on Friday, November 3. Shoppers can expect discounts of up to 50% on a range of items including vases, bowls, door stops, and everything in between.
Remaining Stores
While customers are saddened by the closure, Fab Interiors assures them that the stores in Preston, Blackpool, Lytham, Bowness, and Kendal will remain open. The company wants to remind shoppers that they are still here to stay and continue providing their beloved products.
Shoppers Express Their Disappointment
Despite the reassurances, customers are still expressing their disappointment over the closure. One Facebook user commented, "What a shame it's closing down!!! It's a lovely shop!" Another shopper said, "WTH! Was in the other day! Crikey! Get that pic quick!! Or we will have to visit the other FAB stores."
Other Recent Shock Closures
This isn't the only closure that has left shoppers shocked recently. Boots customers were worried when it was announced that 300 of its stores were facing closure. Additionally, Iceland is closing its outlet on Trinity Street in Huddersfield after a series of closures throughout the year.
